The Manager of Advancement will implement and manage The Children’s Home’s fundraising efforts centric to: donor engagement and stewardship and the agency’s annual and leadership giving campaigns. The Manager of Advancement will also oversee operations relating to The Children’s Home’s direct mail campaigns and will be responsible for relationship cultivation, prospecting and development as well as agency portfolio management, including individual donors, foundations and corporate partners. This role will directly collaborate with the CAO, CEO, and high-level volunteers including board members and Rockin’ at Riverfest Co-Chairs to ensure that they have the support and resources necessary to be successful in soliciting for The Children’s Home.
This position must be able to plan and work with relative autonomy and be comfortable in a startup environment. This position must be able sustain positive and mutually-rewarding relations between the Agency and its donors; partner with members of the Advancement and executive teams to determine best strategies for effective solicitation and stewardship of donors; and maintain ongoing and active networking with internal and external constituencies. The Manager of Advancement will also pursue community engagement efforts and represent The Children’s Home in public forums when appropriate and in support of the Advancement offices financial and awareness goals. This position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer. This role has no direct reports.
