The Advancement Services Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting operations of the school’s fundraising and alumnae relations efforts, and provides administrative support to the Managing Director of Advancement and department staff as needed.
The primary role of the individual is to manage the core department operations including gift processing, donor receipts/acknowledgments, and maintaining integrity of donor and contributed income financial records. Support for annual fund operations, basic prospect research and donor stewardship activities is included.
The ideal candidate has experience in managing donor/prospect databases effectively, possesses analytical skills, demonstrates curiosity and desire to learn and grow in his/her role, and is organized and has strong customer service skills. Familiarity with Windows operating environment, Word and Excel is required.
