20 Hours per week (some evening and weekend hours required)
Under the direction of the Director of Community Advancement, the Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for growing, solidifying, and maintaining volunteer efforts at St. Joseph Home (SJH). S/he will work as part of the Advancement Team facilitating engagement between volunteers and all SJH departments and lines of service, creating a welcoming culture for learning and serving. The ideal candidate for this role is an outgoing and collaborative self-starter who believes deeply in the value that volunteers can and do bring to our community and relishes the opportunity to be the bridge between volunteers, staff, and those that we serve. The primary duties and essential functions of the position include volunteer recruitment and coordination, volunteer engagement and training, working with related Board committees and clerical and general administrative tasks related to the job.
