LEAVE A LEGACY^®

The LEAVE A LEGACY program is the public awareness campaign sponsored by the National Committee on Planned Giving ("NCPG") and conducted locally by LEAVE A LEGACY programs, under the sponsorship of NCPG member planned giving councils ("Sponsoring Councils").  All rights, title and interest in and to the Trademarks and the LEAVE A LEGACY program are owned by NCPG.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide clear and consistent standards for the use of the LEAVE A LEGACY program name and Sunrise Design Trademarks (the "Trademarks") by NCPG member planned giving councils, LEAVE A LEGACY programs, program partners and sponsors.  The goal is to promote a consistent image and message across North America.

The Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council (the "Sponsoring Organization") sponsors LEAVE A LEGACY Greater Cincinnati which is such a registered Program.  The registered Program authorizes the use of the Trademarks by the Partner in connection with the registered Program.  The Partner agrees to submit to the Program samples of all advertising and promotional materials, whether written or electronic, containing any of the Trademarks.  A single organization or multiple chapters or affiliates of a single organization cannot use the Trademarks other than as a partner in a registered LEAVE A LEGACY program.

Description and Use of Trademarks

The Partner agrees to comply with the standards of quality for usage of the Trademarks as set forth in the "Graphics Standards & Usage Manual" (published July, 2003). A Partner may request that the Program review any intended use of the Trademarks to ensure compliance with the LEAVE A LEGACY Graphics Standards & Usage Manual.

NCPG has the right to amend the Graphics Standards & Usage Manual from time to time and to terminate this agreement in its sole discretion.  Any alteration of the standards of quality prescribed by the Graphics Standards & Usage Manual must be approved in writing by NCPG.
