In my comments at GCPGC's recent Annual Meeting, I spoke on the topic of the "Vision of the Future for GCPGC-- Leadership, Change, Resilience".

Since my last message to you, the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council has continued to provide excellent examples of "Leadership, Change, Resilience", which is the theme for my presidential year. Together we are improving the effectiveness of

 "Raising o' the Green - Find Your Fundraising Pot of Gold", a one day conference made possible through a joint collaboration between the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council (GCPGC) and the American Fundraising Professionals (AFP),

LEAVE A LEGACY began as a public awareness campaign of the Partners for Philanthropic Planning. It was designed to benefit non-profit organizations by educating the general public about the benefits of leaving bequests to charities. 

Every time the tax rules change, there's plenty of fretting about the imminent death of charity, but it just never seems to happen.  People who work with non-profit groups scoff at the idea that the expiration of the federal estate tax is making wealthy families rethink their wills.

For those of us who have been in fundraising for any amount of time, we've all seen the classic fundraising pyramid.

Planned Giving (PG) on the Run is a comprehensive, yet straightforward, educational opportunity for non-profit professionals in the greater Cincinnati community. 

The Every Member Campaign is in full swing! So far we have raised $1,200.  This is 80% of the 2010 goal.
