LEAVE A LEGACY - Voices of Giving

Published April 30, 2010 by Mary Alice Koch

LEAVE A LEGACY began as a public awareness campaign of the Partners for Philanthropic Planning. It was designed to benefit non-profit organizations by educating the general public about the benefits of leaving bequests to charities.  Voices of Giving, which grew out of the LEAVE A LEGACY campaign, is an annual event that allows the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council (GCPGC) members to recognize local area philanthropists who have made a bequest or other planned gift.

Through the recognition of donors, Voices of Giving also assists in the promotion of gift planning to the general public through the news media.  Professional advisors are also recognized for their efforts in educating clients about the benefits of leaving bequests to charity.

To date GCPGC members who have submitted nominations for recognition at the 2010 Voices of Giving event include:

Beech Acres Parenting Center
Catholic Inner City Schools
CET
Cincinnati Children's Hospital
