Colleague Connection

This piece is called the Colleague Connection. We hope it will help GCPGC members get to know one other better. 1.     Your Name:  Carol Martin

2.     Place where you work:  Joy Outdoor Education Center Foundation, Inc.

3.     Your professional title:  Foundation Manager

4.     What is the best thing about working for your organization/company?  I work in a place that makes learning fun for kids.

5.     What do you actually do at your organization/company?  I do all fund raising and donor communication, except the Annual Report, which someone else took over this year - annual fund drive, capital campaigns, reports, and planning giving (early stages).   

6.     What is your favorite book?  An Instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears

7.     What can you absolutely not miss watching each week on TV?  CSI: Miami

8.     What is your favorite band?  I do not have a real favorite; I like a lot of bands and performers (Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks, K.T. Oslin, Over the Rhine, to name a few).

9.     What are your hobbies?  reading, gardening, enjoying nature, travel
